As I have written about in the past on this site, I am overall at odds with the stock steel bracelet that the Tudor BB58 comes on. I don’t like the rivets, nor the clasp, nor the lack of micro adjustments. I find it heavy and uncomfortable, and it’s always either a hair too big or too small, no matter how I configure the links. Alas, other than the obscenely over-priced (on the secondary market) Submariner, there is no better alternative for such a dive watch. And so the search for great alternative bracelets is a reality for many BB58 owners…
Read moreNatalino In Review
I am not sure exactly when Natalino came onto the scene, but I was intrigued from the very start. They make great, Italian-inspired menswear at quite affordable prices (both in general, and certainly for what you are getting). Their product offerings spans sweaters, trousers, and shirts, to full suits and sportcoats. I, of course, had to give them a try for myself…
Read moreThe Nice Laundry No-Show Sock
I am not sure why we talk about socks so much on this blog. Is it too much? Impossible. Truly, the quest for the perfect no-show sock, at least, is never-ending. I cannot claim to have found it, but I have found an excellent one, from Nice Laundry…
Read moreCheck Out: Sam Hober Ties
It’s no secret I am pretty picky when it comes to my clothing. The way this manifests itself in the world of neckwear is that I really only like ties that are 7.5cm/3.00” wide at their widest point. It’s become pretty well-known at this point that Japan is producing some of the world’s best eyewear these days. We previously looked at a brand called Tart Optical, and we’re now continuing the “Arnel-style glasses” series with a look at TVR, or “True Vintage Revival.”…

Sure, we never hoped we’d still be here at this point, but it seems like — at the very least here and there — face masks are going to be a part of our lives for the next little while. So you might as well get one that is comfortable, and looks good (as good as such a thing can look, anyway), right?…

It’s not every day you find a new brand you previously had never heard about, but instantly rockets to the top of your personal list of favorites. Cavour, though, is just that sort of brand…
Read moreThe Perfect Sweater Everyone Should Own
Okay, fine, there is no such thing as “perfect” in this sartorial world we inhabit. And probably not everyone should own this sweater. Link-baity headline? Guilty as charged. BUT. This sweater from L.L. Bean flies under the radar, but it’s actually an awesome piece that I think should be highlighted.
